Installation Requirements
With each main product license we provide product
download and application files
installation at NO charge. You are not left alone to install
yourself.
Ongoing support is via browser/ftp, email and
telephone. There is no programming or complex HTML coding required.
Please read the following carefully and if you have
purchased a copy of our software - 'Thank You' and a programmer/installer
will be contacting you shortly.
What are the system and hosting requirements for IMScart software?
The basic requirements are a server running PHP 4.1.0
or newer and MySQL 4.1 or higher.
Interaction with some payment processors require PHP
with the curl library with SSL support and xml. If you want to use UPS
live quotes, you must sign up at UPS and enter your Userid, Password and
XML AccessID.
If you want to use USPS live quotes, you must sign up
with USPS and enter your Userid and Password. For these you also need Perl
installed with the XML::DOM module.

support or modify our Source
javascript code without prior discussions.
PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor)
PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) is a widely-used
general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web
development and can be embedded into HTML.
- Cross-Platform Support.
PHP is available for almost any OS (except maybe for MacOS
before OSX), and almost any web server.
Most web hosts offer PHP support and we assume that
your server has activated support for PHP and that all files ending in .php
are handled by PHP. On most servers, this is the default extension for PHP
files, but ask your server administrator to be sure. If your server
supports PHP, then you do not need to do anything.
MySQL database server
The MySQL database server is the
world's most popular open source database. Over five million installations
use MySQL to power high-volume Web sites and other critical business
systems — including industry-leaders like The Associated Press, Yahoo,
NASA, Sabre Holdings and Suzuki.
MySQL is an attractive alternative to
higher-cost, more complex database technology. Its award-winning speed,
scalability and reliability make it the right choice for corporate IT
departments, Web developers and packaged software vendors.
Display Bar Code
To display bar code the Voyager system requires the PHP GD library.
It allows Voyager to perform image manipulations like adding text, lines
etc. If this library is not installed on your server Voyager cannot load
Barcode dynamically.
Please, ask request your hosting provider to install PHP GD library,
if you wish to display barcode.
PHPMyAdmin
With every copy of IMS Voyager we integrate PHPMyAdmin. Please ensure
it is installed and active on your server if you wish to use this
utility/tool.
