Please note

A - Log into your Admin area of your IMScart installation with your username and password. You must have "admin" permission to perform this action.

B - Click on Hotels in top menu bar

C - You may create a hotel by clicking on "Add hotel" in left menu.

1. Add the hotel name.
2. Choose parent level. It may be Hotels which is the default top level.
3. Publish: if checked, tour category will be displayed in your IMScart
4. Hotel Flypage: You should not alter this field unless you are experienced with PHP programming language.
5. Additional Charge per Person: This is for all the rooms at this hotel.
6. List order: when you have several categories, you define the display order of every hotel by entering a number; 0,1,2...
7. Commission: Commission given to travel agent if you work with them.
8. Reservation Fee: optional.
9. Hotel owner: To add the name in the drop down list, you must first go to Admin module, Add user with permission "hotel". Then you can make the association.
10. Destination: Optional. If you want to use it, you must first Add Destination in the left menu.
11. Short Description: Max. 256 characters.
12. Hotel description: the description text must have HTML tag to allow formatting. You can include images but they must be transferred in the "shop_image" folder on your Web server. This page is viewed when you click on the hotel name.
13. Thumb Nail: Normally a small image 80 x 80 . This image is used in the result page when a search is initiated.
14. Full image: Not used with Hotel. Only with rooms.
15. Then SAVE the page.

D - To ADD ROOM, click on Add Room in left menu

1. Choose the Hotel you want to add room to and click GO
2. Now you see: New Room for....
3. SKU is a code for each room. It must be UNIQUE.
4. Hotel: Select the hotel that the room will be part of
5. Retail price: When the room is created, you will be able to add price.
6. Publish: if checked, the room will be displayed in your IMScart
7. Maximum Number of these Rooms: This is the number you have available.
8. Display order: when you have several rooms, you define the display order of every room by entering a number; 0,1,2...
9. Name: enter name of room to be used on the Web pages
10. Short description: maximum of 256 characters. It is used on the result page generated by a search request.
11. Long description: no maximum of text. HTML code must be used for formatting.
12. Thumbnail: usually about 120 x 77 pixels. It will be used with the short description when a global search is done in the database.
13. Full image: it is a larger image that is part of the descriptive page of the room.
14. Then you SAVE your page and come back to the room to complete details such as price.

E -  CREATE inventory

1. Now you have to create inventory for each hotel you created. Click on "create inventory" in left border.
2. Select an Hotel in the drop down list and click GO. You must have rooms configured.
3. Then by using the calendar, click on the "start " date that will be found in Start Date on the right. Do the same for the end date.
4. Select ADD radio button. Selected by default.
5. All your rooms are listed below with details: Number of these rooms and price.
6. Price: You can enter a different price if you need to. Let's say you want to put a different price for the period Dec 15th to Jan 15th, you can do it by defining the dates for that period.
7. Include: checked if you want to create the inventory. Click on "Update inventory". It takes few seconds to read all the data from the database.
8. If you want to change either the number of rooms or the price for a specific time, click on time.
9. When you are ready, click on "Update inventory".

Ability to see hotel location on the Google Map (V3 from Oct 9-08-2009).
It is possible to enable/disable this feature using internal constant ALLOW_GOOGLE_MAPS in admin, edit config.   1. Fill "Hotel Address" field on the hotel add/edit form. This field must contain at least zip code and city name for hotel. For example: 83100 Muang Phuket   2. If you go to hotel details page, then you'll see hotel location.
