IMS Software WYSIWYG Editor

Editor 2.0 - edit image functions.

You can add any external or internal image into your content. For external images you need to know the exact path. Internal images can be found and added from the list. By clicking on this icon you will open the following menu:

Click on the "insert image button" in the bottom of the window.
As you can see there are many options for proper positioning of your images.

1 current folder - this is root folder of your image directory, set in config of editor in standalone version or it takes this information from configuration of your application (Mambo, Nuke, ...)
You can skip back to root folder by clicking on two dots in the beginning of the path.
2 subfolders - list of subdirectories inside root folder with images, you can change directory by one click and list of images (3) will be automatically refreshed.
3 images - list of images inside selected folder. Select image by click, preview (4) of the image will be shown.
4 preview - this is a preview of selected image (in new window), to view image in it's current size with measures and size in bytes.
5 filename - this is the filename with full path of the image. If you select filename from the list it will be assigned automatically.
6 alt tag - you can assign alt text to each image.
7 align - all available alignments of image, again you must first finish options if you want to use them and then click on preview to add it into your content.
8 border - set size of the border around image (in pixels).
9 spacing - you can assign horizontal and vertical spacing of the image.
A measures - you can assign custom width and height of the image.
B insert image - this button will insert the image into your layout but will keep this window open, if you are not satisfied with settings or placement, you can delete current image in editor, point your cursor to another place and insert a new image again.
C cancel - closes image window.
D upload new img - editor has included image uploader to make editing even more convenient, more information here.

Another good feature is that all elements are backwards editable, which means if you select an image in the editor and click this icon, you will be able to edit image settings and apply changes.

Image preview
if you click on preview image in the window above (4) you will get the following image:

Create new folder
If you want to manage your images it's good to have enough folders for all occassions. You can create new folders by clicking the Create new folder button inside the Upload new image window.
